Store Manager - Maternity Leave - Fitzroy Store  

We are currently looking for an experienced retail manager who is ready for the next step in their career. A person that loves leading and empowering teams to achieve results. A person that embraces positive culture and loves swimwear and fashion.

Reporting directly to the Retail Operations Manager, you will have experience in motivating and directing your team to achieve workplace goals and sales budgets. With a large team reporting to you, including an Assistant Manager, your communication skills and ability to motivate others is paramount.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading and directing your team to achieve maximum productivity 
  • Meet sales budgets by motivating, training and mentoring your sales team
  • Employee recruitment and induction 
  • Employee development and performance monitoring
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered through outstanding service and product knowledge

Graphic Designer/Content Creator - Oakleigh Head Office

We are looking for a reliable, creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer/Content Creator to join our growing team. Your role will involve developing all creative content across the business including but not limited to - EDMs, website, in store assets and social media, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. We need someone to help us shape the Swimwear Galore brand and produce beautiful content to inspire our growing customer base.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Produce creative content for all mediums, which could include anything from branding, EDMs, social assets (static and video), POS, decals, posters, store window concepts
  • Provide rapid response design to fill our communication needs across websites, social media, EDMs and video.
  • Provide input, creativity and insight into marketing ideas and campaigns, look for new opportunities to bring creativity to the brand
  • Develop, maintain and ensure the general adherence to our brands’ design guidelines as appropriate
  • Work closely with external suppliers and partners to deliver our design requirements and assets, including sourcing quotes and finding new suppliers to work with
  • Organise in house flat lay and campaign photoshoots and input into creative direction
  • Editing in house flat lay, studio and campaign images ready for web and print

Skills & Experience

  • Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design
  • An expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • 3+ years experience in similar role
  • Strong time management, organisation skills and initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail - your content will be viewed by a lot of eyes!
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well in a small team environment
  • A positive and bright attitude

Added bonus if you have:

  • Retail experience (in-store or head office)
  • Video (shooting & editing) and photography skills are a bonus and will be held in high regard!

Assistant Store Manager - Malvern Store  

We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Manager for our Malvern store, working a Sunday to Thursday roster.  As part of the Swimwear Galore Management Team, you will be a major contributor to our future growth and success.

You will work closely with your Manager to build a high performance culture and motivate your team to achieve targets. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of management and further development within our company.

Ideally you have at least 2 years experience in Management of a large format fashion store and can demonstrate your ability to meet your KPI's. You are passionate about customer service, fashion and retail sales. You possess leadership skills and qualities and can effectively communicate with all members of your team as well as Management.

Your KPI's will include:

  • Motivating, educating, and supporting your team to provide exceptional customer service
  • Driving and motivating your team to achieve sales budgets and targets
  • Monitoring rosters and run sheets to maintain wages budgets and costs
  • Applying loss prevention strategies and educating your team to minimise losses
  • Mentoring, developing and providing feedback to your team to build a high performance culture
  • Assisting in Visual Merchandising, ensuring your store is well presented and a pleasant environment for both our team and customers
  • Providing feedback to Head Office on all aspects of your store – stock, sales etc

Administration Officer - Oakleigh Head Office

We have an opportunity for you to join our Head Office Administration team based in Oakleigh. 

This position requires you to liaise with all stores, suppliers, various departments and all levels of Management. It would be great if you had experience in a similar role.  We use Harmony software and whilst it would be an advantage for you to have this experience, it is not necessary.   

The role is varied and would include: 


  • Supplier Claims 

  • Purchase Order creation 

  • Data Entry and Purchase Order follow up with suppliers 

  • Stock management and responsibility for your department 

  • Other varied tasks and reporting 

  • Assisting Warehouse during peak periods 

  • Assisting answering phones - customer enquiries and directing calls 

  • Filing invoices/credit notes  

Skill Requirements 

  • Have amazing computer, numeracy and data base management skills 

  • Have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop strong professional relationships 

  • Have a high level of attention to detail 

  • The ability to think through and solve problems logically

Summer Online/Warehouse Assistant - Oakleigh Head Office

We are looking for highly organized and efficient online/warehouse assistant to join the team at our Oakleigh Head Office. Your availability must be Monday-Friday and during December and January a full time commitment is required, including weekends, as this our busiest trading period.


Reporting to the online/warehouse manager your role will comprise of:

  • Picking stock from our warehouse
  • Unpacking and coordinating incoming stock from store level
  • Invoicing and packing orders
  • Hanging stock
  • Assisting with processing exchanges; ensuring they are processed within the designated time frames
  • Stock Receipting Inward and Outward goods including counting and checking of goods
  • Replenishing stock to our retail stores ensuring inventory is picked, scanned and packed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Unpacking and hanging new seasons Swimwear and Accessories
  • Ensuring Inventory is correctly located within the Warehouse
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace

This is a hands-on, physical role requiring someone who is enthusiastic and can work both in a team and autonomously. You must be reliable and able to start immediately.
